Subject : re: Question
Date : Sun, 30 Apr 2006 21:50:00 -0700 Dear Noah,

I have been in your corner every step along the way, as I read your articles. I am stumped only by your calling "Michael" by the title of "Holy Spirit." I thought you would digress for a moment in your article, just to explain this to the unlearned (me). Where in Scripture, do we find the Holy Spirit is Michael, or vice versa? I thought Michael is an angel. Please educate me!

Thank you,
Jeanette W

Hi Jeanette,

It is so nice to get an honest question, thanks for taking a moment to write..

I came to this understanding after a convergence of truths, principles and verses left me no other conclusion.

The place I started was the simple fact that every spirit being in the Bible has a PROPER NAME. So here we have Jesus referring to "a spirit being" in John 17, etc, and yet, this spirit being, unlike any other in the book HAS NO NAME..

To figure out the next part of the story, the big picture, I went back to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. If Abraham is the Father, and Jesus is Isaac, then who is Jacob and Esau? the "twins".

So I started to wonder, who could possibly be "twins"...

Well my understanding is that Jesus is the Father of all the spirit beings who are in or around the earth. So basically I looked for who was at the "top" of both camps - the good and the bad. It seemed obvious - Lucifer (satan, devil, angel of light, etc) lead the evil side, while none appears to be higher than Michael. Then I found this verse to pull them together - common place, time, purpose, power, etc:

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Another point. The title "The Holy Spirit" is certainly not in stone in the NT... Our bible translators are so psychotic when it comes to how they render a whole series of greek saying, capitalized and not... they then capitalize, or not, willey-nilley whenever they feel like it, not according to the manuscripts...

so best rule to use is this:

in this place (such and such verse) that they are talking about "the Holy Spirit", ask yourself "is this a person or an attitude". Let me explain.

Most of the places in the NT where we are to be "filled with the Holy Spirit", you could more accurately render it "be filled with a spirit of holiness"!!!

Remember, spirit is just as much an attitude, like team spirit, as it is a ethereal flame of being.

And most of all, DOES IT MAKE SENSE???

If the Bible tells me to "be filled w/ the Holy Spirit", and He is a Spirit Being, then unless I was being actually "possessed", then it would appear that there is no room at my inn. On the other hand, if it meant "be filled with a spirit of holiness", then I could easily understand making room in my life for that command...

Now consider John 16

13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

this is clearly a SEPARATE spirit being.
also: http://www.dadsdayoff.net/individuality.html

Or sometimes it is saying "the spirit in you is HOLY" - inside of you is a spirit that was given birth to by Jesus, therefore it is HOLY.

Sometimes it should be rendered "the HOLIEST spirit" or "the Holiest of the spirit brothers". If Michael is the oldest (firstborn twin) of all of us children, then he would certainly qualify, on the good side eh?

Oooops, I think I got off the subject.. Hopefully clearing away some of the fog around the words helps to see that the "big picture" all makes clear, consistent sense. No hocus-pocus, no magic, no brain or arm twisting, no need for blind-faith.

So until someone can logically show me someone in the Bible who would better qualify for "the proper name of the spirit being whose title we know as The Holy Spirit", I'll hold onto it like holding a sweet smelling jasimine or honeysuckle blossom - gingerly and enjoyably...

blessing 2 U!!
I really appreciate you writing..
plz write back soon :)

Thank you Noah, for your intelligent reply to my question. I need to sit down with your email when I have more time, and search out the treasures from within it. Thank you.

I see a parallel between two groups of people throughout history. I see the work of ancient scientists who lived hundreds and thousand of years ago, and I appreciate their best efforts to explain natural phenomena with the tools they had at the time. I see also the work of ancient theologians and Bible translators, and I appreciate their best efforts to explain spiritual / Biblical phenomena with the tools they had at the time.

Those ancient theologians and Bible translators have actually become a part of our present day tool box. Many (perhaps most) of them can be compared to my great-grandmother's wash board which is much less efficient than a modern washing machine, but which still bares the name "wash board" and still claims the function of washing clothes. Given a choice between the two, however, ...I'll stick with the washing machine!

Like our understanding of 'clothes washing' technology, so also our understanding of God's Word has advanced significantly over the years. Most people prefer to own a washing machine, because it represents LESS WORK for us (the machine will do the work - I just load the darn thing). Sadly the opposite is true for Biblical understanding. Most people prefer to own the old popular, permanently embedded ideas of the past, because they also represent LESS WORK for us (the ancients did all the work for us - I just load their teachings into my mind and sleepwalk the rest of the way). It is for this reason that I am less irritated at the ancients for their mistakes, misinterpretations, and blunders, than I am at the present day self-acclaimed Bible translators for their mistakes, misinterpretations, and blunders. We have much less excuse now days, to be resting on our laurels, when we have a tool box full of tools that the ancients would have paid dearly for: the internet, computers, countless libraries and museums, well researched and written history books, language studies, instant cross-referencing tools, etc.

I so appreciate your earnest, honest seeking of the truth in God's Word. You don't just melt in with whatever the popular (poopular) theories are, which I call "herd mentality." If the popular Bible translators all decide to run off the edge of a cliff, does that mean we should follow them to our death? "All we like sheep have gone astray..." I'm as guilty as the next, for having fallen "hook, line, and sinker" for the flannel-graph mentality of former Sunday school teachers who were standing dangerously close to the edge of that cliff most of the time, as they taught with a smug, self assured, untested confidence.

And we wonder where the world got its popular "church lady" character for comedy TV? For years I was waiting for an episode where the "church lady" would whip out her flannel-graph and pointing stick, and in three minutes or less, explain why all most popular translations of the Bible are tried, true, and tested; valid, trustworthy, and mandatory for salvation. Then of course, she would end the episode, as usual, with her famous (smug) church lady dance.

Well, all of this to say, "THANK YOU" for an obvious reliance on the Holy Spirit as your teacher. As a result of reading one of your articles, I am now planning to do a more in-depth study of 1 John 3:9 with careful attention to the word "begotten" or "born" in that verse. Thanks again Noah!

Please keep in touch if you have the time,

Jeanette

( Hmmm. Curiously, spell-check has never heard of the word "poopular." Go figure. ;-)

From : Noah Russell
To : Gary

I find your information to be very helpful. I would also ask that you look into the Greek translations of Hell. It has become apparent to me that the translations come from Gehenna or Hades. Gehenna is a literal place in which criminals and even babies were burned alive. It seems as though Hell may have been meant as a metaphor. In addition to your own research on Hell, check out the Wikipedia definition of Hell: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell It is very interesting. I have not concluded 100% that I am confident there is no Hell. Your feedback would be most appreciated, as it is uncommon for me to run into anyone who even questions the contemporary views of Hell.

Yours in Christ,
Gary

Hi Gary, very nice of you to write.. on the contrary - I believe very much that there is a "hell"... the biggest difference is that we believe that the "flames" of hell do exactly what flames do here on our earth plane - they consume!!! Current popular belief says that God gives people some sort of covering that can be tortured with pain, but is never destroyed or consumed.. 100% FEAR BASED teaching... Instead, what is it that the flames of hell are supposed to destroy? Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Souls and bodies that are so contaminated that the only remedy is desctruction... Of course we keep in mind that SPIRITS are deathless and not directly "consumable" by physical flames. This is a form of "cleansing" designed to prepare the spirit for its "next round" of education. what parts of the website were you reading? did you read this: ===>>> http://www.dadsdayoff.net/hhindex.html thanks again for visiting and writing :) Noah

I just have to say that after searching so long to find others who like me have found the simple answers to the gospel, therefore I am glad to say that you have got it right.

I find it difficult to share the truth with those who believe that they alone are the only ones saved, as they think they have got all the answers, and that if you don't believe in the trinity or virgin you cannot be a true Christian.

keep up the good work I can say that there is not many like you who are free form orthodox teaching.

Kind Regards

8 March 2005
Brother Noah, I just came across your site today

Hi Joyce,

thanks for stopping by. great to meet you :)

and what I'd like to know is concerning the 144,000: is it literal

it sure seems to me like it is.. a relatively small number like 144,000 certainly is an indictment against our current christian church system now, eh?

It all seems so "customized" now.. With this understanding, all of the verses and thoughts in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc talking about "falling away" now MAKE SENSE in reference to todays church. She HAS missed the boat.. She has been duped... She has been found to be lukewarm, and are about to be "spit out of His mouth - into the tribulation. A member of orthodoxy (or more specifically evangelical) beliefs think that all those verses have to apply to ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT THEMSELVES. But such a small number points out that these verses all apply not to only the ancient Hebrews, but also to the vast majority of the modern church.

and do we all have the opportunity to be in that number?

YES!!!!

You know, back in the 1970's, when I was in high school, the number one selling book for the decade? "The Late Great Planet Earth". Everyone was talking about the return of Jesus being "any minute"..

Now, 30 years later everyone is asking (or should be) "what is the delay"...?

The delay is that HE HASN'T FOUND enough people to meet the minumum number that He set to "get the show on the road." He has NOT YET found 144,000 mature (truely dedicated and committed) Christians who "follow the lamb wherever He leads".

Is God calling all of us to be in the firstfruits

YES indeed

Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

or could it be that it is too late for some-- maybe they disqualified themselves

do you see or remember anywhere that He talked in those terms? Maybe

Luke 12:47 That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

or

John 10:1
[ The Shepherd and His Flock ] ?I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

Paul certainly had his opinions - Gal 5 comes to mind:

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and selfcontrol. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

or...As a side note, someone had a dream or vision that seemed to indicate that the firstfruits would be ready by Sept. 6, 2006.

The 2006 is certainly possible, but I don't think that a Sep rapture date is possible. For a number of scriptural reasons, we believe that the rapture of the firstfruits can happen only on one day - the 10th day of the Jewish month of Nisan. The Passover always falls on the 14th day of Nisan. So approx 6 days before what christians call easter. This was the day that the Jews were to "set aside" the lamb that was to be sacrificed on passover. More details are on the site and I can find them if you need about why it must be a spring date.

It also makes sense - what is 3 1/2 years after the spring time? the fall. Just in time for the feast of tabernacles - when the Lord will return to tabernacle with His people.

I appreciate your reply-- if you haven't guessed, I want to be in that number! A sister in the Lord Jesus
Joyce R.

AMEN!! I join with you sister in making THAT a worthy goal to shoot for and to help and encourage others to attain the same..

Blessings 2 U :)

How do you suggest that we celebrate the new moon?
Beto

Hi Beto,

great question..

I'll break my answer into 2 parts..

1. what to do leading up to communion.
2. what to do for communion

what to do leading up to communion

this is what you might call "according to local tradition". Whatever flavor you all are comfotable with should fly. The point is to "gather in His name" and to "come towards Him". To the extent that you actually move your heart, mind and spirit towards Him and His, to that extent will you be blessed. To the extent you give, will you be given.

Psalm 89:14 (New Life Version)
14Your throne stands on what is right and fair. Loving-kindness and truth go before You.

So the activities that come to mind are seeking needs (or getting prayer requests), praying, sharing victories (praise reports). Reading and discussing either God's word or something very close to it.. If not "4 gospels only", then great care needs to be taken as to WHAT IS BEING READ!!! The farther from the center of Jesus' Good News - that He delivered, the less effective the message. Remember, that what Rev 14:6 calls the "everlasting gospel" was originally in Greek the "wellness message". Think about that.

Singing is good. It is a natural way to "lift the spirit".. The very act of singing raises the level of thought in the human. So in the church, we use it to get everyone headed in the same direction - towards Jesus.

what to do for communion

A solemn time. We start by lighting candles on a Hebrew Menorah. A special song. A verse or thought or explanation about the occasion and celebration. A public prayer, asking The Lord to enable all present with the elements about to be consumed.

And then take communion together.

Communion consists of only whole wheat bread and "preserving" red wine.

The bread can be made by men or women. I know because I have made a number of batches - a real feat for a "non-cook"... anyway, it's easy. only 4 ingredients.

1. pure whole wheat flour
2. olive oil
3. water
4. salt
1 cup wheat flour. 4 Tablespoons water. 3 Tablespoons oil. 1/4 teaspoon salt.

you probably don't need elaboration right now on all of the biblical attributes of each of those 4 ingredients, but stop and imagine for just a second. Pure whole wheat. Olive oil. Water. Salt..

Mingle the oil w/ flour and salt until absorbed. Add water, kneed all. Roll flat. Poke small holes in the surface with a fork, etc. Cut into round pieces approx size of silver dollars. Then bake at 400 degree for approx 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cook to desired consistency - crunchy or chewey.

The purpose of the wine is to represent the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus represents our cleansing and salvation. Salvation is another word for Preservation. Jesus came to show us how to gain Preservation for our soul (garment).

Did you know that if you take approx 23% wine and place a piece of raw meat in it, that not only will the meat not go bad, but over time it will actually cure and seemingly "cook" the meat. It is what is known as "preserving" the meat.

Take regular 12% red wine and add approx 1/4 to 1/5th brandy, which is about 70% alcohol, thus raising the overall to approx 20-25%

This is an external representation for what is happening on the inside of each participant. The strong wine's preserving features are easy to show representing the preserving power of Jesus in both this life and the one to come.

Above all, enjoy Jesus' presence before, during and after the meeting. This is the definition of "being in heaven" here and now, the natural byproduct of "coming towards Jesus".

Blessings 2 You :)

Noah Russell

I am interested in more indept understanding in regards to the first fruits. It is something that has been on my mind for about two months and I am following thru with it as I want more knowledge on this subject. Someone at our church taught about firstfruits in regards to it is a tithe and it never seemed right to me so I am just checking it out for myself. I was taught to never take what someone preaches/teaches as gospel and to check it out which I am doing since the teaching on first fruits at my church did not hit my spirit right.

The Lord gave me understanding on Rev 12 a week ago. I prayed that He would show me someone else who understood in the same way. Your website was the answer to my prayer. I listened to no one but God and received the understaning about the 144,000 being the firstfruits and the "women" being the worldly, apostate church. God also gave me a word about a year ago which I only now understand. He said, "The time of the church is over; the time of the bride has come." He is so good! I praise Him for the confirmation He has given me.

Hello, I am a brother in the Lord and have been at your site. The Lord has used me extensively and I have gone through many things in the past 30 + years since my salvation. One thing is that He has given me the vision of firstfruits, of being an overcomer, a manifested son of God.

I wanted you to know that I appreciated your writing on overcoming porn stuff. This has been the terrible negative in my life that I hate with a passion, but seem unable to get over. Really, there has not been any other writing I could find on the internet about this problem. It is so silly of me. I am happily married over 20 years, yet have that dum thing that bothers me.

I really need a friend in this Noah, and hope that you will be my friend to help me with it all. I want to lay this rebellion down in my flesh, crucify it completely so my heart's desire for the Lord, and for coming out of this Romans' 7 experience will be finally done. I must tell you, that this shames me.

Thanks for your listening ear....

Reply:

blessings to you bro :)

I have gone back and read what I wrote on that page - about a year and a half ago.. to see how "dated" it would be, and how it related to your letter and situation.

now that I revisit, the webpage almost indirectly deals more with masturbation, rather than so much pornography..

since I learned the truth about Jesus, and His seeds - they are life and potential - and how He never lost any of His.. That as His son, my goal is to imitate His life to the greatest degree possible.. since then, I've been very careful not to "squander" this newfound gift and resource.

But PORN is really a different matter..

especially on the internet...

this last summer I found myself clicking on those links.. going to those urls.. man, they really get the blood flowing (which doesn't happen at 43 nearly like it did at 23...)

I guess I've grown sensitive to things over the years, but I felt my "soul" out of harmony.. out of sync.

Then the Lord gave me one piece of one favorite verse that since last Sept has kept me absolutely pure in my viewing selections..

being a fan of the teaching of the firstfruits, you will recognize:

Rev 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.
2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.
3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.
4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.
5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

I guess it just finally hit me one day that looking at porn specifically disqualifies one for firstfruits - or "bride" - status. I realized that verse 4 was happening in my life - I was being defiled by/with women that I was allowing to enter my soul garment..

bro, we've come too far to blow it now.. you know almost 1/4 of the NT is talking about RIGHT NOW (in history)!! we have a grand opportunity, so let us live up to the maturity that we have previously attained..

"if your mouse causes you to stumble, cut it off..."

blessings to you :)

your brother,

Noah

ps write, call or plan a visit anytime. always open to you..

His second letter:

Noah; I do hope our fellowship may now continue. I really appreciate this letter. Your the first person to firsthand deal with this matter in my life. It was so horrid, but so pleasurable to my flesh, yet so ugly to my mind and heart before the Lord. Heaven went blank, my heart dropped, my fellowship with God waned. The desire I had for the closeness with Him disappeared. I am guilty of both those things you mentioned above, masturbation and porn.

The internet makes it terribly easy. It is an act of open rebellion against the Lord who is my Savior, and it was a complete heresy and hypocrisy on my part as one that is known as a prophet of the Lord in this area where I live. Always, out of much head knowledge, I would share the word of God, and often prophecy would continue to flow through me to others when needed. Yet there was for this long while this terrible "hidden" sin.

The masturbation part I have had since a small boy. I am now over 40. The porn stuff began sporadically since I logged on to the internet almost 4 years ago, it was just too easy. My mouse did offend me, my hand did offend me, the word of God offended my flesh, my life became a turmoil stuck in Romans 7. It was just pure plain torture.

BUT, this verse about not defiling myself with women out of Rev 14:4, that HIT me last night when I first read your email. Knowing also the great forgiveness of our God, I claim that verse here and now in agreement with you Noah. It is sort of like the Lord wipes out the past, restores the years the cankerworm destroys, restores to me saneness in my mind that I need to come back into communion with HIM. I want to be back in fellowship with my Savior, I care not for anything else. I LEAVE THIS PAST BEHIND, FORGETTING IT, as we are told to do.

Please keep in touch with me also. Blessings and thanks so much for being my new friend,,,

my second response:

AMEN!!

Today is the day to accept your/you're new-ness in Jesus!!

may I suggest to make a serious, concentrated effort to eradicate ANY traces or reminders..

Clear your browser memory.
delete inappropriate bookmarks.
hit start. find. search and destroy any inappropriate keywords, programs or images on your harddrive.
when inviting emails arrive, be diligent to ask to be removed from their lists.

Make it a goal that when Jesus returns for His bride, on one of these soon coming "Feast of Firstfruits", that your harddrive will be found "pure", as well as your heart, mind and soul.

Bro, our understanding is that a foundational reason that Jesus was able to convert His human body into that of an undying, ongoing immortal was the fact that He never lost any of His 'Life Seed.' Numerous verses point to His SAVING it..

He then had that storehouse of seed SUPER CHARGED when His body was resurrected. Then off to heaven He went.. then kicks in:

"That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you." John 16:15

Once you have reached 60 fold status (http://www.dadsdayoff.net/30-60-100.html), it is one of those very Life Seeds, Supercharged, that comes to LITERALLY GROW inside of us. It is light, and it expels the darkness - at the speed in which we allow it to take over.. Here is an excerpt from one of my favorite books:

Much in the realm of plant life, man can successfully graft, so as to drastically modify the fruit, eventually developing a new strain. In surgery, doctors have also successfully transplanted skin, tissues and various organs.

Should it then be considered incredible that Almighty God can also make transplants to the end that the downward trend of the human soul should be changed to that of a God-aspiring one? And that the selfsame soul thereby becomes deathless?

This is that of which the apostle wrote: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of INcorruptible thru the word of God which lives and abides forever" (1 Ptr 1:23). Actually, ' born again' is a very poor translation of the Gr Gennamenoi. Far more accurately it could be said 'generated again', or even begotten anew.

this was an excerpt from: http://www.dadsdayoff.net/reincarnation.html - (about half way down the page)

I am truly very excited for you :)

your friend

Dear Brother Noah:

It's been a few days since we have communicated. I have introduced some of the material from Leland Earl's book to my class and prayer groups. I had no idea what I was getting into. The traditional "party lines" on end time events is far more set than I had perceived. Reactions have been all the way from partial acceptance, to outright rejection of the various links in the book. On a positive note; The premises certainly do stir interest that only comes by controversy.

I believe I should hold off placing the books in the hands of all until the people can do a little digesting of what they have heard. You were absolutely right in predicting a lonely road, for one who chooses to introduce any thing different.

For the past 30 years or so, my teachings have been developed, from what I believe the HOLY SPIRIT gives to me. A lot of it doesn't fit into the seminarian's concepts. This limits student numbers, and does not enhance my image to the established clergy.

At any rate, I intend to follow the path, I feel the SPIRIT leads. The 3 Comings has made me look beyond the 17 links into other events, I had not previously veiwed as prophetic. e.g. "The water into wine" That's a good one to start on.

Thank you for your help and prayers

One of our critics - from the website of Phil Johnson

Dad's Day Off
One struggles to find words to express the Really-Deep-Down-Badness of this site. Let's just say it is b-b-b-b-bad to the bone. This guy hates the doctrine of the Trinity, insists there will be no everlasting punishment of the wicked, and is convinced the epistles were included in the New Testament canon by mistake—just to name a few of his more glaring errors. Things only get worse from there. Here's a statement from one of his articles: "It was not necessary for Jesus Christ to come to earth, in physical form as a man born of woman, in order for man to gain preservation for his soul. Practice under the Mosaic Law, if followed faithfully, was quite adequate and effective to accomplish 'soul saving.'" Obviously, that flatly contradicts Hebrews 10:4; Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16—and scores of other biblical statements that point to Christ's atonement as the only way anyone can be saved.

The Webmaster at "Dad's Day Off" is a black-belt master at ripping proof-texts from their contexts to lend artifical credence to his views. He sneers at his theological critics: "With the mountain of evidence that is provided herein from the Bible, are you sure that you want to 'blacklist' my website?" Well, let us be the first to offer an emphatic "YES!" "Dad's Day Off" is a good signpost, however, to remind us that armchair theology and Internet access can be a deadly combination.

Dear Mr. Phil,

Greetings in the Name Above All Names, The Lord Jesus Christ.

In your daring expose' of my website (www.dadsdayoff.net), I began wondering who the "black-belt" really is...

To prove one of my "worse glaring errors" you quoted:"It was not necessary for Jesus Christ to come to earth, in physical form as a man born of woman, in order for man to gain preservation for his soul. Practice under the Mosaic Law, if followed faithfully, was quite adequate and effective to accomplish 'soul saving.'" (Lev. 17:11, Ezek. 18:4)

And then you chastise me with: "Obviously, that flatly contradicts Hebrews 10:4; Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16—and scores of other biblical statements that point to Christ's atonement as the only way anyone can be saved.

But Phil, why did you fail to point out to your readers that the very next verses, same paragraph read: "Jesus came and sacrificed to bring about a new and improved covenant. The old contract was washed out by his death. He was the Yahweh of the Old Testament who made the earlier covenant, and the old covenant could not be valid after His death. Jesus came to offer undying and also glorified life for the physical body - added to preservation for the soul."

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with that theology? To say that the ordinances that God laid down for the people under the Old Testament were adequate for their time. And when God changed the plan, then the old was no longer acceptable. It was now, "the new way, or NO way"...

That one might get you promoted from "black-belt" to Master of Sleight-of-Hand (or mouse)...

Then you quoted me:

"With the mountain of evidence that is provided herein from the Bible, are you sure that you want to 'blacklist' my website?" Well, let us be the first to offer an emphatic "YES!"

Well we certainly shouldn't let a little thing like evidence, or logic, or patterns of truth to get in the way of our precious orthodoxy / paradigm. A few verses to ponder:

2 Cor 3:14 But their minds are made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant (their orthodoxy) is read. It has not been removed...

Mat 15:9 ...their teachings are but rules taught by men...

Jer 8: 8,9 How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the LORD, what kind of wisdom do they have?

Rev 3:17,18 You say, `I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Isa 48:6,7 You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? "From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot say, `Yes, I knew of them.'

No offense intended, but I know that you cannot even consider most of the truths presented on my website. The proverbial "snowball in hell" would stand a better chance!

Why?

The bottom line - it would eventually jeopardize your job and position. (assuming you still work for GTY)

Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate the publicity that your site has thrown my way. I hope that you will continue to display the links.

How about John MacArthur? Would he, based on NEW revelation (Mat 13:52) change his position on a scriptural topic? He is the 5th generation of pastors in his family? I can hear it now: "Your great, great, grandpappy didn't see that verse THAT WAY... " His entire life, family and work, is based on continuity. Change is not an option.

And no disrespect intended. I have all the respect in the world for brother John. I used to belong to his tape lending library, and a subscriber to the booklets corresponding to the current radio teaching. I love him as a brother with all my heart. He's THE MAN!!

But once I met ................., I decided to:

Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you really are.

I have an issue to challenge you on. I do appreciate the content of your site; however, I am dismayed to see that you, like so many others, take the position that abortion is wrong, except in the case of incest/rape. To me, that is like saying that one life (conceived under more "ideal circumstances") valuable, while the life of the child conceived under these less-than-desirable circumstances is not. I myself happen to be a child conceived of rape. I can personally attest that God wanted me here on this earth and had a plan for my life from the beginning. I have three beautiful children (surely they were meant to be here, too!). I feel I have something to offer others, partly because of the unique way I came about. Of course, my wish is that no woman would ever have to go through the trauma of a rape or incest. But let me plead with you...If a pregnancy does result...Please do the unborn child a favor and consider giving him or her life!!! There is no denying it; the act of rape is repulsive. But we (the children of rape) are not. We deserve life, too.

Hi Jennifer,

thank you so much for your post about abortion & rape at

===>>>> www.dadsdayoff.net

My hat is totally off to you!!!

You see, however many years ago, when 'you guys' were looking down from heaven and saw this unfortunate and most difficult situation: A pregnant rape victim - Trauma, shock, violation, theft, pain!!! And the forecast for the fetus - more of the same.

I can hear it now, the cry goes out, the bulletin board in heaven reads:

=======
"VOLUNTEER NEEDED" - Rape victim on earth (USA) is carrying a viable fetus and needs a volunteer spirit child to live this life. Nice location in central USA. Extra credit for volunteer at the end of the project. Apply in spirit, ready to leave.
========

You never know...

I wrote a quick little page about how God strategically places spirits according to His wisdom:

======>>>>>>> www.dadsdayoff.net/placesspirits.html

Even if volunteering was not the case, there is another way of looking at the sequence of events, and possible alternatives.

According to brother Wolcott (who wrote that article), the spirit enters the fetus at around 10 weeks ("the life is in the blood"), and most abortions occur from 12-20 weeks.. so in this situation, the now "free" spirit child would simply get back IN THE FRONT OF THE LINE - NEXT to recieve a(n appropriate) human body.

Of course none of us knows the exact mechanations of heavenly policy, but what we do know is that His LOVE TIDE for us His children is the one CONSTANT in this universe - our growth and maturity His ever present concern - JUST AS WE FEEL AND DO FOR OUR CHILDREN!!!

blessings to you, dear sister :)

Greetings!

please check my website: http://members.theglobe.com/km
Do you believe in/teach ultimate reconciliation--
Cheers,
Tony Salmon

Hi Tony,

absolutely!!!

I am the father of 4, and I don't believe that I am going to "lose" any of them. How incredibly blind people are to think that our heavenly father is about to lose 5 out of 6 of His... (6 billion people on the earth, 1 billion christians)

And then there is the issue of the quality of commitment from those 1 billion in the family...??? kinda shakey..

Did you catch the meaning of the title of my website?
www.dadsdayoff.net/intro.html

It works in very well with UR's (universal reconciliationist thinking) along with the fact that people don't fry in hell forever and ever
www.dadsdayoff.net/eternalhellno.html

these concepts untie God's hands from having to bring us, His children to complete maturity and full spiritual stature in the 70 years of life here on earth, which equates to about 5 minutes of life on the spiritual plain... these ideas give Him more TIME with which to grow His children and bring us to maturity..

Where do you stand on the rapture issue? All Christians going the first time, or just a handful of prepared ones? please consider www.dadsdayoff.net/returns.html

Thanks for writing. please stay in touch :)

16 Dec, 1999 Tony Salmon,
Hi Noah!
Umm...I don't believe in a rapture...I believe that His "coming" (parusia...presence) is manifested in us as we manifest His likeness and become LIKE Him. I believe His coming is progressive in us as we become "partakers of His divine nature". "He was found in fashion as a man..."--He became what I am that I might become what He is. The Son of God became the Son of man so that the sons of men might become the Sons of God--As He is, so are we in this present world. I believe that ultimately all the kingdoms of the world will become become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ.

How you see it?

Cheers,
Tony Salmon

bro, it only takes 2 witnesses to identify. This has 3 (at least)!!!

mat 24:40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

Luk 17:34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.

Rev 14:3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.

I know, I didn't need to put verses 4 & 5 in there, but they add to the context..

Jesus hits the same idea twice from 4 different angles. Then revelation comes and answers His prophecy. And a bit more veiled (although not really when understood):

Rev 12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

This again is reference to the immediate taking away of the "firstfruits company" to begin the 31/2 year tribulation period.

The most thorough research on the subject, I think, is the booklet "The Three Comings Of Jesus". It is one of the most impacting books I've ever read, I pray that it speaks to you :)

Dear Noah, I am thankful for brethren like you who are willing to fellowship in Christ even if we do not see everything "eye to eye". It's good to share and pour from vessel to vessel...I am a compound of every true brother I have ever met!

I believe the "2 men in one bed" speaks of our dual natures...sef and Christ, bed being our "terms". We believe the one taken away is the man (or nature) of sin that we can awaken in the likeness of Christ. The types given in Lk 17 is that of Noah and Lot--in both of these situations the wicked were taken and the righteous were left. If it were the other way around Jesus could have used Elijah or Enoch in which the righteous were taken and the wicked remained (not to imply that EliSHa was wicked...only the generation in which he lived). I believe the two women represent the duality of the soul. James that a double minded (greek--doubled souled) man is unstable in all his ways. I believe we stop being doubled souled when we lay our will down completely and become a whole burnt offering to the Father. Jesus said that if our eye be single, and the eyes are the window of the soul, then our whole body is full of light. Again..2 men in one field...I believe the field is the harvest...at the wedding invitation one said that he could not come because he had bought a field which he had never seen.

I believe the 144,000 represent the overcoming company who rule and reign with Him in the Earth. i believe this is the same company described as the man child in Rev.12, a Benjamin company who are cought up to God and His throne as soon as he is born (he was fully matured at birth). I believe the woman is the church giving birth to a man child...the Father catches them up because they have been rejected by the church. This is typified in the birth of Benjamin...Rachel calls his name Benoni (son of my sorrow) and dies in the wilderness. the Father immediately picks this child up and says, "Your name shall not be the son of sorrow, but Benjamin, son of my right hand!" Because of rejection from the traditional church world, we've had no choice but to let our Father pick us up--this has caused us to walk in a higher realm of Spirit than we have ever known even though our feet our on the ground. We are part of a Melchisedec priesthood, a Kingdom of Priests who are in training to rule and reign with Him as He through us touches creation to set man free.

Lord bless you, brother,
Tony

Noah, I used your analogy "Dad's day off" while preaching in Baltimore, MD yesterday to illustrate the father coming into His rest. That is a very good word picture to help people who are just learning about His rest/feast of tabernacles.

Why do you need to have everything explainable in human terms? (flood of Gen., Virgin birth)

Isa 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD
Luk 12:57 "Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?
Mat 25:26 ...wicked, lazy servant! So you knew ...

From what I can tell, we are SUPPOSED to use the grey matter that He gave us. Where does it say to bend over and take whatever our great robed ones tell us...???

didn't Jesus personally warn us about bowing to tradition?

Mat 15:6 you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: "`These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'

God does not have to play by human rules.

isn't that why He plunged from the heavenlies, to "play by human rules"?? and show us how it's supposed to be done?

With God all things are possible.

yes, but He doesn't/won't violate His own rules, right?

In reading you site, I think I have personally witnessed the beginnings of the apostate church.

sorry bro, that happened the very minute that Rome stopped persecuting the church, and instead welcomed it as her own!! that triggered a period of the most blinding darkness to ever envelope planet earth since the black curtain enshrouding our Lord Jesus at the time of His death.

Jesus said:

John 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

then He said:

Mat 24:30 They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

He leaves - darkness.
He returns - light.

The sunrise does not happen suddenly, but gradually you see the new days sun light chase away the dark. Dads Day Off (www.dadsdayoff.net) is a signpost that more light is emerging - the time of His return is near!!

Remember that contrary to what is currently taught, the sign of a teacher of truth, according to the Lord Jesus, is that He brings out of the storehouse treasures NEW & old... Mat 13:52

I know that this is all a bit much to swallow all at once.. but when Jesus returns, do you think that He will neatly fit into all of the little mental boxes that you (and I) have put Him into? NO!! He will SHOCK all of us - He already predicted it:

Luk 24:25 He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

The bad news: that verse applies to you and I. The difference between orthodox christianity and me? I acknowledge that this verse applies to me, personally!!! And so I spend my time trying to UNapply that verse.

May the Lord Jesus give you the curiousity to find Him and His truth :)

If some of the stories in the bible can be disconted, then why can I not then discount the entire thing?

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

bro, we just want to get rid of the parts that man has added, which Jesus predicted would happen anyway - no big surprise here!!

Do you want to know which parts of the Bible to keep? Here it is:

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

The Law and the Testimony.. that's it.

I personally do not believe that I evolved from a fish or out of some primordial soup. I'm not sure that the world is as old as the "scientists" say it is. Where did that date system come from? Carbon dating is the only thing near accuracy and anything older than 60,000 years(so the scientists say) can not be dated. Not enough radioactive carbon left to measure beyond that age. Also anything that has been underwater, lived underwater, or anything that has eaten anything that lived in the water can not be accurately carbon dated. So what are we left with? Some guy says that this layer of rock is this thick and represents so many years.

The big bang therory supposedly happened some odd trillion years ago. How do they know that? Futher more the Second Law of Thermodynamics says that everything moves toward entropy (or chaos). ( I'm a chemical engineer) How can I possibly believe that there was this massive explosion (chaos) that eventually became this ordered universe, where we can describe almost every phenomina with a mathematical equation (extremely ordered). If I don't believe that God flooded the world in Gen., then how am I supposed to believe that he broke the Second Law of Thermo.

yowsa, I hope you're not putting me in any of that? My 4 kids have been home schooled in the most fundamental Christian principles and truths since they began. I was reading Gish and Creation Science material in '80

one of my favorite proofs is the "small dust level" on the moon. do you know that they were anticipating up to 50 feet deep of dust on the moon - billions of years of buildup. Instead they found 4 inches - about 6000 years of buildup. makes all the sense in the world - part of His process of readying the world for the next "work week" is to "blow off" the moon. clean start every week..

I think what is called science today takes as much faith to believe as the stories in the bible. I just don't think that things that happened in the bible need to be decribed in so called scientific mediums if one has faith.

yes, but isn't it even more beautiful when the Bible truth dovetails with physical and historical truth?

For instance: Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden in 4000 bc. We have uninterupted Chinese history going back almost exactly that far, which runs in perfect parallel with the old testament. Isn't it interesting that Chinese history reports a large regional flood in the area of Israel at around the same time as Noah's flood...?

please read brother Dahl's account of the flood carefully - www.dadsdayoff.net/flood.html and tell me if it is criminal to not follow orthodoxies "all mountains were covered"

you see, up to now, the only choice you had was to believe that it covered all, or prove total stupidity by claiming that it didn't happen at all.. How about a logical, explainable, understandable explanation...? And dovetailing with the Chinese - I think adds power and faith to the whole story :)

Re: This is strange stuff.

This website is the most bizzare I have ever been on. It is stranger than Art Bell's website. Where do you find "first, second and third class salvation" in the Bible?

Hi Mr. Starfish,

Please forgive me for taking so long to answer your letter.. I didn't know if you were serious in asking these questions or just giving me a hard time... well, I decided that it didn't matter :)

http://www.dadsdayoff.net/30-60-100.html

First, second and third is simply saying that "salvation" is a process that occurs in stages, as does maturity in human physical growth - so it is the same with the growth of the human spirit. It is not just the black and white / saved vs condemned. Jesus made reference to the 30, 60 and 100 fold return on God's word as it goes out:

Mark 4:8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times."

and again, he gives a three step process in the growth cycle:

27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain--first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.

Also, what do you mean by "Dad's Day Off"?

from www.dadsdayoff.net/intro.html

In Genesis 2:2, God reveals to us His schedule. It says that He worked 6 days, then took a day of rest from His work of creating. That was, and continues to be His schedule.

Then another spiritual principle kicks in: things on earth are a reflection of the heavenly. This earth realm is a reflection of the "heavenly" realm. "...on earth as it is in heaven" and "let Us make man in Our IMAGE..." Sure enough, God's principle of dedicating the 7th day to rest and re-attunement, made it into the 10 commandments - it's # 4, and has the LONGEST explanation of any of the 10... . Although Americans currently give little more than lip-service to the Lord's Sabbath, it is clearly a part of our culture and heritage to be busy with work for 6 days, then to set 1 day aside to "rest".. Next we need to ask; "What does God consider a "day"'?

Psa 90:4 "For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by..." And repeated in

2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. "

So how long is God's "day"? It's easy to see that it's what we call "One Thousand Years"...

So now count with me for a moment; from now back to Jesus is almost 2,000 years, or 2 "days", right? Then according to Jesus' lineage, Adam's mortality (or his booting out of Eden) was almost exactly 4,000 years before Jesus, or 4 "days". So let's add it up.. 2 days, plus 4 days = 6 days. 6,000 years = 6 "days".

In essence, today's date would most accurately be shown as May, 5999. We are now 5,999 years after the date when God began His "work week" by orchestrating the events that led to Adam's booting out to the 'east'. We are nearing the end of this 6,000 year period of time.

So what happens after the sixth day? The seventh day is His day of rest. It's the SABBATH, or His DAY OF REST!!! Please do not fool yourself into thinking that He will skip His rest day. Don't for one moment consider that He would work "as usual" during His scheduled day of rest. In the strongest of language that I can declare; It won't happen! HE WILL NOT WORK on His Sabbath of Rest.

The Bible speaks many times of eternal damnation; how dow you deny it?

since, like you say, "many times" it is mentioned, then the answer must address every instance, right? If you are really interested in seeking the truth, then please examine each and every instance as analyzed in the booklet "Heaven & Hell".... my entire "case" is contained in this document.

www.dadsdayoff.net/hhindex.html

I would be very interested in hearing your view after evaluating this document.

Please e-mail me and explain. Thank you.

thank you for your interest :) May Jesus' best blessings be yours!!

Dear Brother in Christ:

I just found your webpage. I am currently teaching a class on the subject of eschatology. We find two differing opinions on who will go up in the rapture, and who will be left behind to endure or perish in the tribulation.
I would appreciate your opinion as to whether all living Christian's will be caught up, or the unfaithful and unprepared will be left.

GOD bless you and thank you for your time

Bill M

Hi Bill,

I always assumed that all followers would be taken.

But the booklet "The Three Comings of Jesus" pretty well decimated those ideas!! leaving no room, in my mind, for the "lollipop and ice cream on the merry path to heaven to take a seat on Jesus' lap" story...

His book in it's entirety: www.dadsdayoff.net/returns.html

after studying his 17 bible examples, it's hard to see how any other conclusion can be drawn (except for the fact that it does not make folks feel good like "we're all goin' the first time" scenario)

I've put a few other points on this subject at www.dadsdayoff.net/pretribrap.html and www.dadsdayoff.net/howlongtrib.html

Bill, I pray that the Lord Jesus will bless you with HIS understanding :) your brother, Noah

Bill #2
Dear Brother Noah:

Thank you for your prompt reply. I find the booklet "The three comings of Jesus" to be exactly what the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me, for some time. My teaching of ; only part of the church raptured with the dead saints, has caused a lot of disagreement in our class membership. Your words and references only speak to me of the faithfulness of His great Holy Spirit. WOW! what a confirmation!

Yes, I expect to continue in this theme, and make the publications you sited available to the class members. If you hear a loud explosion coming from **** Christian Fellowship, please don't be surprised. This doctrine is contrary to most of Christendom's understanding, including our fellowship. The Lord rescued me from sin over fifty years ago, and Leland Earls book has more scriptural support, than any I have read or heard about.

Thank you again. May our Wonderful Lord reward you for your effort.

Bill M
San Diego County, CA

WOW is right!!! Bill, I am very encouraged by your resolution to follow the Jesus and the leading of the Holy Spirit!!

yes, sir, I do know what those explosions sound like - we just about tipped oceanside into the pacific back in 1993 when we began asking our longtime friends at **** Chapel in Oceanside about these 'issues' as they were just being introduced to us... KABBBBOOOOMMM!!!

Recalling those events puts us somewhere between laughing and crying.. and just feeling sorry... I don't know exactly who to blame - the devil is always easy to blame.. "tradition" is easy point to, but who is he? I can't shake his hand (nor smack him upside his head to get some sense in there).

Sounds like you are fixin' to embark upon the "narrow path, which few travel"

Don't be surprised if along this path you also hear His words: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." mat 5:11-12

Of course we have always been taught that it was the pagans who would be doing the insulting and persecuting, right? but he pretty well clears that up by adding "for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you"... the people who persecuted the prophets were GODS PEOPLE!!!

If it is any consolation to you, we will be there with you in our prayers for you (we used to get the feeling that we were "all alone")

If it would help I can mail a hard copy of the booklet, then you can make copies if you'd like...

Also a couple of other pages on my site on the subject that I forgot to mention yesterday:

www.dadsdayoff.net/firstfruits.html - then that will link you to

www.dadsdayoff.net/ffturn.html - excellent article from 1905..

perhaps you'll take comfort in a verse that saw me throughout was isa 30:26 ... the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds HE inflicted.

May the blessings of the Lord Jesus be Yours :)

Thank you Brother, for your prayers and concern. You were absolutely right about the negative responses I could expect from other Christians. e. g. "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." "Where in the world did you get that crazy idea." "That's not what we believe and have been taught." etc. etc.

Traditional concepts seem to be the same today, as they were the blinders for the scribes and pharisees in JESUS' time. How many other false hopes plague our church community? The task is much greater than I had imagined, but I do find a few who have at least partially open minds, will pray about it, study the related scriptures and come to conclusions of truth.

I find, we must get back to the foundational living WORDS of JESUS on the subject, and build from there. With the LORD'S help, that's the path I intend to take.

Thank You Again! for the LIGHT you have sent my way. May our wonderful LORD bless, prosper and keep you in the New Year, is my prayer

Did You not forget something in your lecture about the flood. Of course You did:-) anybody would do that;-) If the water had gone to the top of the mountains, it would have included more water than there is in the oceans, You say. But God had to get rid of the water, after the flood. He did so, by folding up the mountains, and deepening the bottom of the oceans, likewise. Therefore, as evidence, You find, seashells high on the mountains of the Alps. Greetings Jens Erik

sorry it took awhile, but I finally clicked my brain into gear... it is amazing how the extreme complexity of this situation, is solved with utter simplicity:

It is true that there are sea fossils on the tops of mountains. The Alps, the Andies, the Rockies, etc.

Noah's flood happened around 1650 AM (after Adams mortality - or being kicked out of the garden) or about 2350 BC. Now do you think that the fossils on top of the mountains were there in 2350 BC? You know, that was only 4350 years ago - not really THAT long ago...

It seems to me that by almost any measurement available, those shells have been there for a very long time. What we find on the mountaintops today may have sat there for hundreds of thousands or even millions of years. Back in the misty eons of pre-Adam earth, who knows how long ago Almighty God brought forth the earth, sun, moon and stars?

When you mention "folding up the mountains, and deepening the bottom of the oceans" - I AGREE!! I agree that He did exactly that. But if all that was happening in 2350 BC, you would think that the other people living on the earth would have felt something? It just seems like those major, earthwide remodeling jobs happened before man came on the scene, a mere 6000 years ago...

don't forget, the Chinese have an unbroken traceable history back before the flood. In fact, it is recorded in their history that there was a great regional flood in the area of Israel and the Middle East in the exact period of time that Noah had his flood!!!

You see, we are simply talking about 2 separate time periods, being confused for one another. The shells and fossils were placed there during one of His remodelings of the earth, while the flood of Noah was a regional event, designed to:

A. portray God's faithfulness and unchangability
B. establish and continue Biblical patterns
C. give us an example of a faithful servant, verses the foolish.
D. to confuse the "wisdom" of modern Christiandom, and to perpetuate 2 Cor 3:14 into this very day.

thanks for your thoughtful contribution, I'd love to here back from you again :)

So I can do what I want cause in the end I will be made to bow anyway..

just depends on what kind of son one chooses to be - faithful or prodigal... again, you choose whether you will volunteer or require a boot on the back of the neck...

Thanks, you have taught me that I don't have to serve Jesus to go to heaven,

the kingdom of heaven is for the HERE & NOW, and yes Jesus is required..

all I have to do is endure Hell for a while hmmm....

1 Cor 3:10-15 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

sounds like each and every one of us are headed there. I'm planning for it. according to this passage, our daily actions will determine our "stay"...

So whats the use in getting saved in the first place huh??

bro, the word really means "preserved". Jesus wants to bring preservation to your body, soul and spirit. that's a lot different than saying a magic phrase that mysteriously gets your ticket punched.

I'm gonna live how i see fit...

you're right - Jesus asks; "Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right? Luk 12:57

I'm gonna go tomorrow and get me a prostitute and have all kinds of filthy forications, for you said it yourself...

if you do that, then you will be missing out on what it is that Jesus wants to save - your seeds (He never lost ANY of His, and He is supposed to be our role model) In the end we all will be made to bow to Jesus...

In the end, we will all WANT to bow down to our dad, just like the prodigal son - you choose to make it hard or make it easy.

Frankly I really don't care what Hell is gonna be like cause' I don't plan on goin there...

that 1 cor 3 sequence would seem to indicate differently...

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus!

I was looking over your site, to which I found many wonderful articles and messages. I thank you for your work and effort. I do have a few comments on a few things that you stated.

I read your article on the trinity and found it interesting. I was amazed to discover that Arius and true Arianism teaches that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father before the ages or "begotten, but not created". That Christ was and is God was affirmed by Arius and his followers, however He was not God the Father, nor a demigod, or a separate deity, but the two together formed what is known as deity . Essentially that is the thought I see behind your concept, then again this could be an incorrect assessment which leads me to the next statement.

In one of your articles I believe it was the "Individuality of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit", you allow for the word "Elohim" to be translated as "Gods" in regards to God the Father and Son. I feel that this allowance robs the meaning of "there is only One God" as emphasized in the scriptures. Though elohim is plural, it is a word that is pluralized either by deities or by excellence of powers or attributes. The word is so translated as God, god, gods as the context will permit it, but never for the One True God is it ever pluralized. This would undermine the concept of "one God".

What are your thoughts if you don't mind sharing?

Mitch M

bro, the whole confusion is in the term "God".

we use it erroneously as a TITLE - or a name. therein lies the error, for "God" is a POSITION!!!

this truth is brought forth in the next in that "series" as I have them arranged on the website:

====>>> www.dadsdayoff.net/whowhatwhere.html

this booklet "God: Who? What? Where? has been one ofFavorites- I've read it probably a dozen times. I have found it to be essential reading in my quest for understanding.

will you please let me know if this booklet clarifies this point, or cloudies it for you?

Dear Sirs!

I read with pleasure your article "Eternal hell, No" and I like it a lot. I think that is a fresh view on this problem.
But you still remain on the postition that reicarnation is unacceptable from the biblical point of view.

Hi Bob L,

thank you for this kind and thoughtful letter :) glad to see that someone out there is THINKING!!!

actually, we do believe very strongly in what we call "RE-ASSIGNMENT", and can be read about at www.dadsdayoff.net/reincarnation.html

But let me to point at the following contradiction: Classical Christianity claims that each soul is created by God immediately before the birth of the person. It means that all disasters and also illnesses in the life of the person were assigned to him/her by God. But in gospels there we can find that each time Jesus cured somebody he told him something like: "Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."

It is what I call "writing your own STORY" - we all write our own stories, Jesus was counceling them to start writing differently than what they had previously been doing - for your own good...

yes, and how about "who sinned, this man or his parents that he was BORN BLIND???". I agree with you wholeheartedly.. the spirit within man has been around a very long, long time.

the idea of God only having 70 years or so to bring us his children to complete maturity and full sonship is stupid - it ties His hands and limits Him. If we understand that this earth-plain is His ultimate "schooling" experience and that it takes the completion of many lessons and "grades" in order to graduate.. it will take many "70's" for most of us to come into the stature of our Father. of course this also explains the vast difference in maturity levels of humans here on earth. maturity is progressive. so with the variations of age of the spirit comes varying degrees of maturity in the flesh..

Yes, Jesus almost always gave the illness of anybody whom he cured into connection with some sins of his. Can you explain me why?

Bye from Czechia

Bob L.

Cause & Affect.
What goes around, comes around.
Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

would it be because the illness was the result of that sin that He mentioned?

Bob, thanks again for writing, please stay in touch :) Noah

Noah,
Glad to see MD (Mikkel Dahl) writings get on the web. Actually I have read them before. There may be some on your site which I have never read. I will look again soon I hope.
Peter

P.S. I do not think it wise to predict that the y2K problem will be the big fulfillment of the begining of the Day of Jehovah-Jesus. But it is generally good to point out to people that the "millenium" is the Lord's Day. Thanks!

Dear Noah,

I was on your site this morning, checking out the "Non-Orthodox" side of Christianity.

I found the Hell articles interesting.

The book: "Heaven & Hell" also caught my attention, in fact I am considering ordering it through email, so if you don't mind, can you inform me on how this is done. Yours, Mike

Hi Mike,

thank you for your interest :)

are these ideas new for you or have you been "straying" for awhile?

are you interested in receiving the physical book? or do you want to have the electronic version emailed over ?

Greetings Noah,

Not a bad question, I have had a rocky road religious wise.

1. Although I went to a Catholic Grade School I was not a good Catholic.
2. After Catholic Grade School I went to a God-less Public School, and began my God-less life. (ages: 14 to 29).
3. I then found myself being moved to watch some of those TV Ministers, (not the Health & Wealth type), at which time I stumbled across the World Tomarrow Program in 1986.
4. I joined the Wordwide Church of God in October/November of 1989, after reading their magazines for 3 years. I was baptized March 28, 1992, it was a very special step for me.
5. 1993, The WCG changed its view on the Trinity, which caused me more confusion than I could imagine, and to a point, it still does. But I stayed because we were Brain-washed into thinking that Only those who were in the WCG were Truly the Only Christians. aaaaahhhhhh!
6. 1995, OH-Crap! The Do-Do Hits The Fan...I Truly say that if God had not given me the sense of humor that I have I would have gone MAD. I left the WCG in 1996 in search for some answers to all the questions that I had.

To be honest, I stayed away from any group that was a spin-off of the WCG, because I no longer trusted the so-called "Higher-Ups". I took my search to Orthodox Christianity, and although I have accepted much of their teachings I still want to prove things to myself. So, now that I have a computer & web access I am searching and reading and searching.

I hope this hasn't dragged-on, but, you asked, :-)

I am not sure which way would be best yet, I have to think on it, but I am interested & I will be in touch.
Yours,
Mike.

> You mentioned to look and see what the Bible says instead of running off to your Pastor and the like. Well, I have a question for you. Do you take the seventy weeks as days = years philosophy and versus like Rev 11:3, Rev 12:6 and the like for actual days.

I think this comes from Hebrew tradition, and an understanding the has been picked up from them.. I'm not 100% sure on that.

What tells you that those days should be days and the seventy weeks be days = years

the 1260 days would appear to be His attempt to get the simple across. no fluff, no confusion (until the "teachers" get ahold of it). I don't do well with mysteries anymore - I am now of the understanding that my father has the ability to simply say what He means (and mean what He says)!

How do you know that 1260 days as mentioned in the Bible is 3 1/2 years.

take 1260 divided by 3.5 and you get 360 - pretty close... or 1260 divided by 365 gives 3.45 - either way.

isn't it interesting to see that 1260 from Nisan 10 is the Feast of Trumpets!!!???

====>>>> http://www.dadsdayoff.net/howlongtrib.html

I have the same question about time, > times and half times.

seems to be His poetic way to REPEAT what He had just now said.. have you seen how He did that in the psalms? says things twice.. kinda "sing-song" or 'poetic'

Hi Noah,

I enjoyed your Web site and much of your message. I feel you are very aware of how man's dogmas and creeds are still being perpetuated in most of today's Churches. Just as our nation's laws and government might be more 'moral' and just if the majority of people took an interest in our leader's actions and passing of unjust legislation, so likewise, if most so-called Christians who attend Church would study to check out whether their Pastor was teaching God's Word, or man's word, then this nation would be closer to the original state that God intended for His creation. Our Father tells us that this is not to be in His Word, for He is allowing Satan control over this world, so that God can test His children to see if they love Him, or Satan (see Judges 2 & 3).

It is necessary for me to make remark about the parable of the 'tares' that Jesus gave in Mark 13. There is yet a deeper message that you may, or may not be aware of. The word 'seed' Jesus used in referring to the 'good seed', etc., and later when declaring the parable to His disciples within that same chapter, is 'sperma' in the Greek New Testament manuscripts. Elsewhere, as in Mark 4:26 and Luke 8, the word 'seed' is 'sporos' in the Greek, meaning a 'casting or sowing of seed in the ground'. So with this distinction made by our Savior in the Greek, He is telling us of a literal physical 'seed', not a plant seed in Mark 13. There are other important places in scripture that verifies this idea, it is not a doctrine of man. The first reference to a literal physical flesh offspring of children of the 'wicked one', i.e., Satan, which occurs in God's Word, is Gen.3:15. Other proof out of our Lord's Mouth of this idea can be found in John 8, and Rev.2:9, and Rev.3:9. Also, you will not find Cain listed in the geneaology of Adam. If you dig in a King James Version of 1611 using a Strong's Concordance Dictionary, taking those verses back to the Hebrew and Greek, this idea becomes the main message our Father is imparting to us. The word 'sperma' is where we get our word 'sperm' in the English, so that there would be no mistake what He was talking about. The problem is that so many Christians are still sucking on the 'milk bottle' after baptism, when they should be on the 'meat' of God's Word (see Hebrews 5). Many of those think that serving God is to never feel righteous indignation, when Christ Himself became 'angry' (He used a 'cat of nine tails, i.e., a whip, to drive out the moneychangers from His Temple), those deceived are always saying niceties and pleasantries, and never digging deep into our Father's Word for themselves, but sucumbing to a 'fantasy' existence, instead of being of 'full age', or a mature disciple of Christ, strong in the spirit, ready for anything Satan can throw at them. Probably one of the most useful deceptions taught by Satan today, is the educating of many Christians in learning popular 'slogans', treating God's Word like an advertising agency selling His Heaven. Since these don't study The Word for themselves, hence they don't know what It really says, and thus it becomes easy for them to take a verse or two, quoting verbatim from our Father's Word, and still be totally ignorant of the message contained within It, turning verses into popular slogan-fests.

Peace be with you in Christ,
Dave

Hello. I was visiting your web sight and I have a question. I don't mean to start right out with this or seem crude but I've been celibate for 4 1/2 yr. which has increased my spirituality and understanding tremendously.

wow, good for you! I can imagine. I pray the Lord fills all your needs :)

At one point you were talking about spilling/wasting a mans seed...well I'm a female...so when a women has her menstrual period is she wasting a potential life?

Well, it is not a CHOICE for her - pregnancy is really the only 'choice' she has in controlling her seed (although it is a factor . The human male appears to be the only known physical being who has FULL CONTROL over his life seed. ALL OTHERS appear to be under the curse of forced seed loss:

Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that [9] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

And if she were to masturbate she doesn't waste any potential life.

Almost a different issue. The orgasm - "the Big O" - is one of those ways that we try to steal a little piece of heaven - a counterfeit one!!! (along with drugs, sports, money, etc) Since the first will be last and the last will be first, it would appear that those who REFRAIN from the "quick trip to paradise" here on earth, and postpone those "short trips" to "O", then a far grander trip to a more permanent PARADISE will be in store... just a thought I had..

So how does that work with a female. Or does it not work for her in the same way

Sister, that is truely one $64,000 question. there is a most dear sister who has been involved with these teachings for over 20 years. she too has remained completely faithful to Jesus.. I asked her essentially the same question. she simply smiled and said that it was up to Jesus to work out the details. she is steadfast in her stand for Jesus. may the Lord Jesus lift you with the strength to maintain you for His Highest purposes for your life :)

Do you remember 1 Tim 2:15 says that "she shall be saved in childbearing", which seems to link with "redeeming" that which was going to be lost - the female seed..

(she was taken from Adams rib)?

Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Candra

I probably need to post a page about that subject. in a nutshell, Adam was originally both sexes in one body. a hermorphadite - both in one. In other words, Adam could (and did) reproduce by himself (probably that mysterious group of "sons of God" mentioned in Gen 6:2). (God is a spirit, and He too has this characteristic - phooey on anyone who teases about mother god and father god - He's a spiritual hermorphadite.) anyway, when God put Adam to sleep, He removed Adam's SIDE - HIS FEMALE SIDE!!! he took the tendencies and characteristics of Adam's "female" side and formed a whole new body to house these characteristics. no wonder He says that the 2 will unite and become ONE...

Candra, thanks for writing. to be honest, I've not seen such a well thought out and intelligent and honestly asked question. may Our Lord Jesus bless you in every area for pursuing Him with such fervor :)

His Best To You
Noah
